Celebrating 25 years in 2019, our company has a long and rich history, spanning back to the early days in Miami, and growing in team size, global deliveries, offices in key centers around the world, and client services that made us the consulting leader of choice we are today.  

  • 1994

    • TCG Consulting was founded Sept. 1, 1994 as Taras Consulting Group in Miami, Florida.
    • The first engagement was a client project in Africa

  • 1997

    • Initial Asia Pacific based engagement

  • 2000

    • TCG’s 100th client engagement as Taras Consulting
    • Taras Consulting Group becomes TCG Consulting
    • Launch of TCG’s proprietary airline management software, SAM (Strategic Airline Management)

  • 2001

    • Hotel Sourcing and Management Practice was created

  • 2002

    • TCG was honored in 2002 with Milliken & Company’s prestigious Supplier of the Year Award

  • 2005

    • TCG moved its headquarters office to Charlotte, NC in 2005
    • TCG was honored by ACTE with the Distinguished Fellow Award

  • 2007

    • TCG delivered its 500th successful client engagement

  • 2010

    • Opened LATAM regional headquarters in Sao Paulo
    • Opened EMEA regional headquarters in London
    • Launched Global Program Design & Delivery Practice
    • Launched Global Payment & Expense Management Practice

    • Delivered engagement in 100th country and on 6th continent

    • Opened Asia-Pacific regional headquarters in Hong Kong
    • Acquired Consulting Strategies based in Chicago, Illinois

    • TCG delivered its 1000th successful client engagement
    • Launched Global Meetings Practice

    • Expanded Global Management Practice
    • TCG celebrated its 20th anniversary milestone
    • Launched initial North American Client Advisory Board, executed inaugural conference

    • Launched initial EMEA Client Advisory Board, executed inaugural conference event and group topic calls
